Elizabeth Rose O'Sullivan

Elizabeth Rose Lacondi O'Sullivan died on Friday, July 3, in Lake Mary, Florida. Beth was born on May 25, 1939, in Mt. Kisco, New York, the daughter of John Lacondi and Rose Dillonaw Lacondi.

She was predeceased by her parents, sister Joanne Lacondi VanScoy and brother-in-law Richard VanScoy and former husband Richard J. O'Sullivan. She is survived by her loving son Michael O'Sullivan, daughter Margaret O'Sullivan Parker, son-in-law David Parker, grandson Samuel Parker and nieces and nephew Richard VanScoy, Patti VanScoy, Beven Grant and Joanne Tromp.

Beth had a calling to work with students and their families, especially in communities with the greatest need. She taught elementary school in Connecticut, New York and Florida and later served as a guidance counselor until her retirement from Orange County Schools in 2002. Beth was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She loved music and was a long-time member of the Bach Festival's Young at Heart Chorale.

We will miss her sense of humor, patience and kindness She always had a cup of tea ready and an ear to lend when you needed someone to talk to. Instead of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice in her memory.
