Elizabeth (101), widow of Luis R. Perez and beloved mother to the late Ruben Perez, passed away January 16th, 2023.
Elizabeth was born October 8th, 1921 to Ramon Figueroa and Maria Diepa in Manzanillo, Cuba. She left Cuba in 1968 and immigrated to the United States, where she settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She moved to Orlando, Florida in the 1980's, where she worked in the hospitality industry until she retired.
She is survived by her daughter Carmen M. Santisteban, her three grandchildren Ana Lurdes Perez, Andrew Santisteban and Alexander Santisteban, and 5 great-grandchildren: Madison Brannon, Giana Santisteban, Micah Santisteban, Jordyn Santisteban, and Isabella Santisteban.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20th at Newcomers Funeral Home at 3806 Howell Branch Road. Winter Park, 32792.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with the service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
