Elizabeth Anne Summerlin

Elizabeth Summerlin, beloved wife and sister, passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home on April 20, 2022.

Liz is survived by her devoted husband, James. She will be dearly missed by all, including her siblings Regina Hardee (Chris), Patricia LaMedica (Paul, deceased), Michael McArdle, John McArdle (Lisa) and Mary Pavlis (John). Many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, cousins and friends will fondly remember the love that Liz showered on them. She was a confidant and friend to her family, always a willing ear, especially late at night for those who reached out to her.

Liz and James loved attending live music events and enjoyed traveling to see their favorite bands. Many lasting friendships grew out of their shared enthusiasm for music.

Elizabeth was a lover of books, an avid reader from the age of six, and was proud to have owned a used bookstore and to have had the chance to assist many in book recommendations over her years in retail book sales. She was known to the family affectionately as "The wonderful wife" and "The sweetest sister" for her quiet but loving demeanor. Her health in recent years limited her activity, but she loved her participation in her Bible Study groups over the years at her parish, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Memorial Mass is Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:30am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Winter Park, FL.
