Elliott JR Rivera Rios 'Baya', age 56, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on December 11, 2018.
Elliott was born on November 5, 1961, son to parents Eliodoro "Elliott" Rivera Rivera, and Carmen E. Rios Collazo. He was a US Army Veteran and had great passion for race cars but mostly for his 'Negra' as he called his RX7. But he had another passion and it was to help others, he was a great Human being, who touched the lives of many. Not just family but also the lives of friends, and racing associates. Also, as a Sponsor for NA and graduate from Hogar Crea, he volunteered to help others from addiction recovery. He gave his time, love and service unconditionally.
Cancer might have taken his body, but was not able to tear his spirit or the legacy he has left. THAT will live forever.
Elio, as many also called him, is survived by his father, Elliott Rivera Rivera; mother, Carmen Rios Rosado; wife, Waleska Rivera; son, Peter Rivera; daughter, Paulette Rivera; sisters, Jennie Rivera, Julie Rivera, Elisa Rivera and Damaris Rivera; brother, Emmanuel Rivera; as well as many like his step-children, step-brothers and sisters, step-mother, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and great friends. And resting in God also its his youngest brother Elliott Rene Rivera who passed away in 1998.
A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12:00pm to 4:30pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
A burial will be later be scheduled and held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. (Contact family for details)
