Elmay Elizabeth Cutler, 93, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 in The Commons at Orlando Lutheran Towers. She was born on May 6, 1923 in Ridgeway, WI. Her mother was Margaret Stonier.
Elmay Stonier married Floyd Cutler on July 29, 1939 Dubuque, Iowa. They farmed in the Dodgeville area from 1939-1969 then moved to Madison, Wisconsin. She then began working for Eastex Boxing Company. Her favorite hobby was quilting, and she also enjoyed sewing and cooking. Elmay moved in with her daughter, Sherri and son-in-law, Mike, from Wisconsin to Florida in 2004.
She is survived by her son, Dwight Cutler (Mary) of Verona, WI; her daughter, Sherri Zebosky (Mike) of Orlando, FL; son, Brad Cutler (Bob Schiltz) of Manning, IA; seven grandchildren, Kevin Reuter (Sandy), Kathy Strand (Rick), Kraig Reuter, Wayne Cutler (Heather), Doug Cutler (Jeanette), Joanne Domina, and Armond Domina; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Breanne, Hannah, James, Nathan, Chad, Ashley, Mac, Kristian, and Nathan; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Logan and Aubrey Reuter.
Elmay was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Floyd Cutler, on March of 2010. She was also preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Dorothy Reuter (Cutler), in August of 1969. Other family members who preceded her in death include her parents; her two aunts, Edna and Nancy Stonier; uncle, Ray Stonier; and grandparents, Thomas and Emma Stonier.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
