Elvira Del Pilar Palacios, 74, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1947 in Lima, Peru.

Elvira is survived by her beloved husband, Carlos Palacios; cherished children, Jesse (Suzanne) Palacios, Steve (Tara) Palacios, Bessie Lemus, Mónica Del Pilar (Alberto) Amparo, Carmen Palacios, Gregory Palacios and Fritz (Rosa Chavez) Palacios; and grandchildren, Anthony Palacios, Alexandra Palacios, Mia Palacios, Max Palacios, Rusbel Lemus, Bessie L. Lemus, Angelica Lemus, Alberto E. Amparo, Gabriel A. Amparo, Isabel Del Pilar Amparo, Abigail Palacios, Bella Sweeney, Arianna Sweeney and Landon Palacios. She is also survived by her siblings, Rosa Reyes Salas, Otilia Reyes Salas, Esther Guevara Salas, Ruth Guevara Salas, Susanna Guevara Salas, Hortencia Guevara Salas, Rossina Guevara Salas, Ana Maria Guevara Salas, Gerardo Palacios and Rousana Palacios, many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Our mother was very protective and passionate of family and friends. Although she did not primarily express her love through hugs and kisses, she let you know how special you were through her thoughtful actions. Especially by putting you first and filling your belly with one of her delicious meals. When people did not reciprocate, she told us to kill them with love. In short, she taught us to trust in God, do what was right, work hard, laugh, dance and have a good time. She taught us to live in love, through love, and for love. And so we will…

Visitation is Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a funeral service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.
