Emily L. Morgan

Emily Lena Morgan passed away on November 25, 2020 at Advent Health Care Center. Born on December 11, 1928 she was the daughter of the late George and Lena DoPadre.

Emily was born and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. She loved to jitterbug and we understand she was quite good at it!! She worked hard her
entire life.
Emily and her family moved to Florida in 1966. Before she retired, she was manager of Sweden House Restaurant.

She met the "love of her life", Chuck Lester, in 1974. They loved to travel, and Hawaii and Las Vegas were their favorite places to go. Now that they're together again, they're probably remembering all the wonderful trips they took.

Emily is survived by her son George and his wonderful wife Barbara, who she adored. Her daughter Diane and her wonderful husband Phil, who she also adored. Also, survived by 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, who she loved so much, especially the newest one, 6 month old Lily. Up until her last day, pictures of Lily would bring a smile to her face. Also survived by 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Because of COVID-19, only George and Diane were allowed into the nursing home and only in the last 6 weeks. But many of her loved ones would come to her window to see her. She would always wave and blow kisses. She loved her family and always wanted to know how everyone was doing. She will be missed by all.

She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph DoPadre and beloved Chuck in 2013.

At this time, because of COVID-19, her Memorial Service will be delayed until it is safe to do so.

Since our Mom had Heart Disease and Dementia, which is such a heartbreaking disease, a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation or American Heart Association in her memory, and for all our loved ones and their families who have gone through this journey would be greatly appreciated.

Rest in Peace Mom. We all loved you and will miss you dearly.
