Emmett Lee Pollard, age 76 of Winter Park, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Enterprise, Alabama on March 5, 1938.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Jackson; brother, Albert Pollard. He is survived by his wife Verdell Pollard; daughters, Angela Brooks and Diane Jackson; sons, Christopher Lee Pollard and Curtis E. Pollard; grandchildren, Keith Jackson, Ann Jackson, Angelia Jackson, Sterling Brooks, Earline Brooks, Markeyta Brooks, Christopher Pollard, Jr., and La Mia Pollard; nephews, John Hooks and Lavaughn Pollard; niece, Teresa Mall; and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, other nieces and nephews, and beloved friends.
Visitation will be held from 4PM-8PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Saturday August 30 at Newcomer Funeral Home.
