Enid May Gayle, age 92, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Enid was born on December 29, 1928 in the Parish of Saint Ann, Jamaica, West Indies to parents Hedley Alexander Thame and Vera H. (Reynolds) Thame.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hedley Alexander Thame and Vera H. (Reynolds) Thame; husband, Lionel Lloyd Gayle; brothers, Ferdinand A. Thame, Humbert Thame, Victor R. Thame, Harold George Thame, Franklyn C. Thame, and Oswald Thame; and sisters, Bernice Kent-Daisy Thame and Jasmine Lil Thame.
She is survived by her two beloved sons, Michael Curtis Gayle and Lloyd Bruce Gayle (and his wife, Debra); grandson, Ethan Lloyd Gayle; brother, Rexford Owen Thame; goddaughter, Joan Palmer; "grand-goddaughter," Kia Palmer; "sister," Claudette Thomas and "brother," Walter Thomas; "grandsons," Omar Wallace and Segun Wallace; "daughter-in-law," Melissa Wallace; "son-in-law," Derrick Wallace; "daughter-in-law," Adriane Maier; and a host of friends. All who knew her will miss her greatly.
