Eric Andrew Williams

Eric Andrew Williams, age 36 of Orlando, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born on October 28,1985 in Mesa, Arizona to Sarah (Lieving) and Fred Williams.

Eric graduated from The Master's Academy in 2004 and earned his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Central Florida in 2011. Forever curious with a voracious appetite for life, he never stopped learning about the world. A lifelong technology enthusiast, Eric provided for his family as a well-respected leader in the software industry at AcariaHealth as a Manager in IT.

Eric had a big heart and the kindest eyes, a brilliant mind, and a famously goofy sense of humor. He loved making people laugh. Eric enjoyed science fiction, NASA, playing golf, finding unique restaurants and vacationing in northern Michigan at the family cottage. He was a connoisseur of metal and media, an avid gamer, and all-around geek. He loved reading, cars, toys and gizmos, but the thing he loved most was being a dad.

Eric's son, Isaac, was his entire world. Eric loved nothing more than giving his all to Isaac; being silly, playing Legos, going on adventures, and sharing his love of science and the wonders of nature. Eric also passed on his love of penguins to Isaac. Eric was a kid at heart but took his duties as a father and family man with the utmost seriousness.

His moral compass was unassailable and he always followed his heart. Loved and admired by everyone who knew him, he will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Eric is survived by his son Isaac Odin Williams of Orlando, FL; parents Sarah and Fred Williams of Geneva, FL; his sister, Rachel Williams of St. Louis, MO; his Grandpa, Glenn Lieving of Sterling Heights, MI; his Aunts, Barbara (Todd) Bryden of Düsseldorf, Germany, Carol Lieving of Waterford Township, MI and Connie Goza of Abilene, TX; cousins Jeff Goza of TX, Hugh and Rita Bryden of Germany; his honorary Mimi Jane Thomas of Geneva, FL.

Eric was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Ann Lieving (Nana) and Blanche Strong (Poppa); his Grandfather Max Williams and his Uncles Charlie Lieving and Larry Goza.

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Geneva, 325 1st St, Geneva, FL on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 12:30 pm with Pastor Conrad Westbrook officiating.

Visitation with the family will precede the service on Saturday from 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm at the church.

Interment will follow at Geneva Cemetery, Geneva, FL.
