Estalene 'Sami" Gray, age 84, of Longwood, passed away peacefully December 2nd 2014. Born April 3, 1930, Sami lived and loved life to the fullest. Her childhood was one of excitement and joy. She took her first job in a diner and worked there all through her high school years. She then worked in sales in a department store and received many promotions that led to designing the store front windows. After the birth of her son Barry, she was employed as a buyer for another store and made monthly trips to New York City to acquire merchandise and to see the latest trends. She was very artistic and enjoyed interior decorating and repurposing furniture as well as designing floral arrangements and selling them at craft venues. She also had great success as a real estate agent. She passed her test with ease and was a natural sales person way exceeding many agents that had been in the industry for years. Later in life , she and her husband owned and operated a deli until their retirement. She was an avid golfer scoring a couple of eagles and even a hole in one. She also loved ballroom dancing with her husband Lowell. she will be loved and remembered by her Husband Lowell; son Barry(Debbie);Grandchildren, Amy Pavich, Traci McHenry and Ashley Gill. She will also be lovingly remembered by her five great grandchildren.
