Esther del Rosario Santiago Duran Henriquez, age 75, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on February 22, 1949 to Luis Carlos Santiago and Carmen Duran de Santiago.

She is survived by her husband of 56 ½ years, Gustavo E Henriquez, her two children, Corina Henriquez Gilmer (husband Michael) and Gustavo L Henriquez (wife Julie); her three grandchildren, Alex, Alessandra and Aaron Henriquez; her sister Carmen Santiago Ortega (Osvaldo) and her four brothers, Egon (Maritza) Santiago, Carlos (Adelina) Santiago, Luis (Nydia) Santiago and Ramiro (Yadira) Santiago; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, relatives & friends that loved & cherished her.

Esther was very devoted to her Catholic faith. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and crime shows, shopping, spending time with family, and doing Zumba on occasion. She worked at Toys R Us for 22 years until the store permanently closed.

A memorial service gathering will be held from 5:00pm – 7:30pm on Thursday, May 30, 2o24 at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando.

A Catholic mass service will begin at 6:00pm.

The family would like to say “THANK YOU” to all who blessed Esther with love and friendship over the course of her life. They truly appreciate those that showed her how much she really meant to them especially during this past year. She was a loving, classy, generous, selfless, simple and humble person. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, who was always there when people needed her the most; offering support, prayer, wisdom, and love in abundance. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength.
