Etta Lewis

Etta Rashieda Lewis, 31 of Winter Park, Florida passed away on May 22, 2014.

Etta was born on July 16, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. She worked for and attended Valencia Community College. Prior to that, she worked in the Health Care Field. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Etta is survived by her parents, Trevor and Valerie Reid; sister, Anna C. Turner; brother's, Tyrone R. Lewis, Omar Reid, Marvin Reid, Orett Reid and Kim Reid and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.



God Favored Me

From the day we met, we bonded
Just girl talk, laughter, tears, a look is all it took.

I didn't know your strength or your pain
because you continued to to smile

A total stranger who became my strength, my friend, MY SISTA

Didn't have to call, didn't have to text
you always knew and you were always there; in person,in spirit, a whole hearted.

Not many can say they know or have been favored.....I Can!

Through you....strength is known
Through you....confidence is known
Through you....love is known
Through you....God favored me and gave me a friend, MY SISTA

So for now SISTA,I don't say goodbye, I'll say see you later and hold my spot. Don't forget to thank him for favoring me.
