Evelyn Gonzalez

Evelyn Gonzalez, age 53, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the UCF Lake Nona Hospital to be with our Lord and Savior.

Evelyn was born on June 6, 1969, in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of Edelmiro Gonzalez, Sr. and the late Enid Gonzalez. She was raised in Trenton, NJ, and later resided in Orlando, FL., where she raised her 2 daughters, Victoria and Gabrielle. She was an office manager/paralegal and was employed by Morgan Trial law for over 30 years.

Evelyn was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved her family and friends. She touched the lives of so many in so many ways that she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her radiant smile was intoxicating. She enjoyed music but, most of all, loved dancing to salsa. Evelyn strongly believed in her family, career, and faith and was passionately active in each of them. However, her greatest joy was being a mother to Victoria and Gabrielle.

Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Victoria and Gabrielle, both of Orlando, FL., and her loving partner, David Gonzalez. She is also survived by her brother, Edelmiro Gonzalez Jr. (Diana), of Ormond Beach, FL., and sister, Erica Enid Rios (Rey) of Orlando, FL. In addition, her six nephews and nieces are Sabrina Rios, Edelmiro (Tre) Gonzalez, Madison Rios, Alexis Gonzalez, Eric Rios, and Anthony Rios. She is also survived by a small feisty yorkie named "Cujo."

She is loved and will be missed greatly.

Evelyn will be honored by loved ones at a memorial service at the Newcomer Funeral Chapel on East State Road 434, Longwood, FL. beginning with a gathering at 9:00 am on October 5, 2022.

Please wear bright colors. No black attire.
