Evelyn Jane Wheatley, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Debary, Florida. Evelyn was born on August 4, 1938 in Phenix City, Alabama to parents Renzo Fortune and Mary (Davis) Campbell.
She is survived by her six children, Anita R. Coogan, Michael W. Kurtz, Susan E. Torrent, Sidney A. Kurtz, Frederick H. Kurts Jr., and Daniel D. Hunter; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; husband Kenneth E. Hunter; two brothers, Jimmy Wrye and Jerry Campbell; as well as many other extended family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Florida.
