Evelyn Therese Whitehurst (Terry) 84 of Sanford, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born on June 16, 1938, in Miami, Florida. She lived there until she moved to Sanford, Florida in the late 90's. Therese worked as a waitress (one of the best, we might add) for most of her life. She enjoyed working with children and became a Seminole County school bus monitor until she retired.
Her favorite color was red. She loved her animals, Elvis, John Wayne, roses, hearts, and enjoyed gardening. She loved her family dearly. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her brother Gordon, son Eddie, daughter's Cindy, and Sharon, her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flower donations, please make a donation to any animal hospital, animal rescue or the Humane Society in Evelyn's name.
