Fayette Jelliman Harger
Fay was born in Liverpool, England on March 25,1935 and passed away in Maitland on April 13, 2023.
Fay was married in 1953 at The Church of All Saints Episcopal, Stoneycroft, Liverpool, England to an Air Force service man, William Harger, on the same day that Queen Elizabeth was crowned, and they moved to the United States shortly thereafter.
Fay was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arthur Edgar Jelliman (Gaga) and Edith Swift Jelliman (Nana) and a sibling who passed away at birth.
Fay is survived by her 4 children, Sheri Harger Whitaker, Maitland (Joe), Dan Harger, Sanford (Cami), Mindy Harger, Orlando (Dave Dean) and David Harger, Ocoee. She has 5 grandchildren, Lexi, Nick, Zachary, Carolina and Emmy. She is also survived by her great grandson, Weston James (Lexi and Jaime) and a great granddaughter, Lillian (Zachary and Shams) due this May.
Fay leaves behind close, long time friends in the US, extended, loving family living in Canada and a few remaining cousins and friends in England.
Fay was fiercely loyal, had a wry (wicked) sense of humor, was a voracious reader and was extremely smart. She would never turn down an opportunity to see a Robert Redford movie or go to a Rod Stewart or Johnny Mathis concert. She was dearly loved by many.
You could take the girl out of England but you could never take England out of the girl.
Fay had many good years and was deeply loved.. Rest well Mom, in PEACE.
