Flora Minnie Bandi
August 26, 1927 — November 19, 2013
Flora (Flossie) Minnie Bandi, age 86, passed away on November 19, 2013. Hospice of the Comforter fulfilled her wish with care and compassion at home as was her request. She fought a gallant battle with esophageal cancer and congestive heart failure.
She was born August 26, 1927 in the home on the family dairy farm in Fairvilla. Flossie graduated from Orlando High School in 1945. Her career was in banking. Flossie was a gifted upholster and seamstress as her hobby. Unable to travel to her cabin in North Carolina for a year she fondly recalled happy times enjoyed with family and friends.
She is survived by Martha Schroeder and her cat Brenda Leigh, seven nephews and one niece. Preceding her in death are parents Jacob and Bertha (Saner) Bandi, sisters Jeanette Walden, Clara King and brothers John Bandi and Carlo Bandi.
Flossie was of strong faith and shares two messages: "Let go and let God" along with FROG "Forever Rely On God"
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy if you wish, is to please pay it forward with random acts of kindness.
