Florence Almaskews Hemphill

Florence Alma Skews Hemphill age 86, went home to be with Jesus Feb 2, 2006 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. She was born in Chicago IL, she and husband John raised their 4 children in Waukegan IL and moved to Orlando FL in 1979. John & Flo worshipped at both Calvary and Faith Assembly of God in Orlando. She is survived by her husband, John O. Hemphill, brother, Les Skews of Mitchellville MD and children Roger Hemphill, Frank Hemphill, Diana Gribbons and Carol Carlson all of Orlando metro area. She has 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Viewing will be held Sunday February 5, 2006 from 2PM-5PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando, FL 32822 407-277-4227. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 6, 2006 at 6PM at Calvary Assembly, 1199 Clay St. Winter Park, FL. Chapel in main building.
