Florence M. Banta, 65 of Orlando, passed away Friday, May 30th. Born in North Tarrytown, N.Y., she moved to Central Florida in 1988. Flo will be remembered and missed dearly by her all her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She had a generous spirit and lived to do for others. She loved to make people happy, particularly by baking for them, and her wonderful baked goods were cherished by many and were always in abundant supply.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Brown and her husband Scott; brother, Richard Perron and wife Dorothy of Manassas, VA; sister, Carol Perron of Altoona, PA; brother, Raymond Perron and wife Ann of Ossining, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kayla Dietschy, Kyle and Kelsey Brown; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Flo was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marie Anne Perron.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 2nd at University Presbyterian Church (UPC), 2562 Rouse Road, Orlando, FL 32817. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until service time also at UPC.
