Florence Marie (Pleus) (Lussier) Bowen passed way on August 31st at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville, NC after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage at her home in Maggie Valley, NC.
Florence was born in Orlando, FL on September 28, 1928 and is survived by her brother and sister, eight children and twelve grandchildren. She was a guidance counselor and teacher at Robert E. Lee Jr. HS for 25 years.
A Wake Service will be on Friday, Sept 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5125 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, FL.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept 10, 2011 with Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by a Graveside Service (Family only) at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (http://www.cfcausa.org/) or your local Humane Society.
