After a nearly 2 year battle with cancer Francisco "Jack" Cuna, Jr., departed his life and graciously entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father on March 14, 2017. Jack was born on April 1, 2010 in Orlando, FL and is the beloved child of Francisco and Lynne Cuna.
Jack attended preschool thru first grade at Eastland Christian School, as well as, Sunday church service. He was a happy, beautiful 6 year old boy whose smile could light up a room and whose laugh was infectious. Jack loved stickers, balloons, games, matchbox cars, cooking shows and building sand castles at the beach with his big sister, Eva. Jack loved football and his two favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers. One of the highlights for Jack last year was attending his first professional Buccaneers football game. He made us promise we would bring him to another one. Jack was wise beyond his years and the wittiest 6 year old we have ever met! He loved school, his friends and anything chocolate. His favorite meal was spaghetti and meatballs. He will be sadly missed by the numerous lives he has touched.
He leaves wonderful memories to be cherished by his parents; sister, Eva; grandparents, Francisco Cuna (Rosa) and Gary D'Angelo (Laurie); great-pepere, Louis Hammerschmidt Sr.; uncles, Mark D'Angelo (Dawn), Omar Cuna (Megan) and Ivan Cuna (Claudia); aunts, Cheri Towle (Jason) and Rosalba Cuna (Juan); his kitty, Tip; and a host of extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:30AM to 11AM on Saturday, March 18th at the Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando with a memorial service to follow at 11AM. In honor of Jack, please if possible wear an article of green clothing, as it was his favorite color.
