Frank John Lauri, age 72 from Carmel New York, passed away on Saturday February 24, 2024 in Orlando Florida.
Born on September 3, 1951 in the Bronx, he was the third and youngest son to Frank and Jeanne Lauri. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School and graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in behavioral psychology and communications. An avid Amateur Radio hobbyist, he was a lifelong member of the ARRL and volunteered as an emergency responder at public events including the New York Marathon. Frank loved learning about history, music and was a big New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by his daughter Anelisa Lauri of Orlando, Florida, her husband Arek Dulgar, two granddaughters Maya and Nora, his former wife Elizabeth Lauri, and his brother Father John Lauri.
A private service will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at Sts Peter, Paul and Ursula Church in Mount Vernon New York with family and friends gathering to honor Frank's life.
