Frank R. Rivers

Frank R. Rivers, Jr., 77, born April 5, 1929 in New Haven, CT. passed away Wed. May 17, 2006 in Orlando, where he had resided for the past 27 years.

Mr. Rivers, graduate of Brown University, served in the U.S. Army for two years, in the CIC, based at the Pentagon. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 242; and a member of the B.P.O.E. #2834.

Mr. Rivers is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rivers of Orlando, son, Frank R. Rivers, III and grandson Mitchell R. Rivers of Connecticut; step-daughters, Debbie Marcello and Donna Bodurtha of Orlando and Diane Enright of Connecticut; grandchildren, Elizabeth Enright of Connecticut, Cristina and Raymond Marcello, Kelly and Kristen Bodurtha, and one great-grandchild, Christian Vega, all of Orlando.

A viewing will be held from 2-4PM on Sat. May 20, 2006 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, 407-277-4227. Funeral services will begin at 4PM.
