Frank Sullivan Thomas(CPO US Navy Ret.), age 90 of Orlando, passed away Friday March 4, 2011. He was born to Walker Cook Thomas and Mary Ellen Meadows Thomas on May 6, 1920 in Sheffeild, Alabama. He was of the Mormon faith.
He was a retired CPO from the US Navy, having served in WWII and Korea; a career than spanned twenty years. He later retired from the space industry as an Electronics Technician.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Fern Thomas. He is survived by his children; Mary Courson, Arthur Martin, David Thomas, Terri Courson, Tina Thomas and Donna Ryder. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4PM-8PM Sunday, March 6 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday March 7 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors by the US Navy will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL.
