Frederick Charles Werner, 92, of Winter Springs, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016.
He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was the retired owner of Werner Signs in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Fred was a kind a gentle man and had a good sense of humor. He had a smile that could light up a room. Fred was extremely proud of his daughter and grandsons. He always had his family's best interests at heart. Fred was an avid golfer and had 6 hole-in-one's at West End Golf Course in Gainesville, Florida. Fred was a good neighbor and a great friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Claire; and his brother Ewald and sister Doris.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Lisa W. Booher and her husband Ken of Winter Springs, FL and two grandsons, Matthew W. Slocumb and Jeffrey S. Wiggins.
