Gabriel Kovacs

Kovacs, Gabriel Andrew, age 82 of Orlando, passed away on Friday June 22, 2007. He was born in Toledo, OH on April 18, 1925. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy and was an air mechanic with the Black Sheep Squadron, under the command of Greg "Pappy" Boyington. He was a member of VFW Post 4287. Mr. Kovacs was preceded in death by his daughter Susie. He is survived by his wife Harriet Kovacs; daughters Becky Terry and Sherry Scorziell; step-sons Greg and Dan Breeze; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service with military honors by VFW Post 4287 will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2007 at 11:00AM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Orlando.
