Gary L. Mann of Longwood died peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Gary was born on August 23, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Towson Senior High School and attended University of Maryland and Parsons College where he was a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. During his college years, he also served in the Army National Guard.
He had a long career in sales, including McCormick Spices, Mann-Holly and most recently in the automotive industry. Gary loved the game of golf and enjoyed his time with Shell's Wonderful World of Golf where he traveled the country and internationally. He was a member of Maitland Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder. Through the church, Gary organized several golf tournaments benefitting Habitat for Humanity and other local charities.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nan, son, Lee (Lindsay), sister, Carol of Houston, brothers Gale (Billy) of Boca Raton and Lou (Judy) of Baltimore, and two grandchildren, Lucas Rex Mann and Layne Margaret Mann.
