Gavin Riley Griffin

Gavin was a loving 13yr old boy who lived in split households, both located in Longwood, Florida. Gavin passed on September 6th, 2021 in his father's home with all 4 parents at his side. Gavin died at the hands of his cancer's return.

Gavin was born on February 2nd 2008 in Sanford, Florida at the Central Florida Regional Hospital. Gavin leaves behind his father, Travis "Todd" Griffin and mother, Jessica Olds; along with his bonus dad, Josh Olds and bonus mom, Stefanie Griffin. Gavin has many blended siblings that he leaves behind as well; DJ Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Deven Olds, Raley Burgado, Dylan Olds, Avigail Griffin, Westin Quinn and Annora Griffin. Gavin was also loved by many Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a Nephew.

Gavin attended Milwee Middle School and was part of the Pre-IB/Engineering Magnet Program and leaves behind many friends. Gavin was an avid gamer and loved Pokemon. He had an incredible passion for music from all genres and loved movie nights with his families.
All four of Gavin's parents, along with Gavin's siblings, will be joining together for a private memorial as per Gavin's wishes. Celebration of Life events will be announced by each household for all family and friends.

We want to thank everyone for all of the love and support that you have shown to Gavin and our families throughout this journey. Gavin really wanted to bring awareness to Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumors (DSRCT), in the hopes that no other children or families have to endure a similar journey.
Gavin will forever be missed but always carried in our hearts.
