Hall, G.G. (Butch) 68. Butch battled prostate cancer for over 6 years, he finally lost his fight and his journey through life on Jan.19, 2011. A Memorial to celebrate his life will be held on Jan. 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando, 32822. Born June 5, 1942, native to Orlando, he is survived by his wife, sister, 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Butch grew up in College Park, and still lived in the house he was raised in, he attended Princeton and Lake Silver Elementary Schools, Robert. E. Lee Jr. High and graduated from Edgewater High School in 1960.
Butch worked for AT&T as an installer, and retired after 33 years, and was a member of the local CWA.
Butch loved his yard and created a beautiful oasis in his back yard and constantly battled the crab grass in the front. He also enjoyed fishing in Key West, Longboat Key and the Canaveral National Seashore, in New Smyrna Beach, where afterwards he would stop for a beer or two at JB's Fishcamp. He had a passion for exotic birds, particulary macaws. He had a pair of breeding greenwing macaws for over 20 years that produced many babies, the last one in born in 1996 which he kept and named Bozo who will dearly miss his papa along with all his family and friends.
Butch is survived by his wife of 15 years, Debbie (Winner) Hall. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy (Hall) Jones, brother-in-law Robert Jones, Orlando, his Uncle, Charles (Chuck) McCulley, & Aunt Norma McCulley, Orlando, his Uncle R.W. Hall, and Aunt Jean Hall, Tallahassee, his son Richard Lovelace, daughter-in-law Karen Lovelace, of Tavares, his daughter Nikki Morrow, Orange City, 2 grandaughters, Kelsey Morrow, Orange City. Amanda Lovelace, Orlando, and 1 grandson Matthew Spahn, Orange City. and many cousins, neices, nephews.
Butch is predeceased by his Mother, Naomi ( Williams) Knecht, and Father, George (Shorty) Hall.
