George Culberhouse passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born in Sanford, Florida on January 25, 1941 to father, George Dalton Senior and mother, Elizabeth (Mcellend) Culberhouse.
George is survived by his wife of 22 fond years, Margaret R Culberhouse.
George graduated from Stratham high school in Ft Lauderdale. He was one of the very first groups to leave for Vietnam as an Engineer in the Army. George also serried in Korea on the BMV. George was a proud Army Veteran and was glad he served his country.
George is retired from Bawden International Oil Drilling Company located in Calgary, Canada and Houston, Texas. He was a dedicated foreman with the company for 22 years. While working, he had the privilege of traveling all over the World. Additionally, he had a job as a heavy equipment Foreman in Florida and abroad.
George loved boating, fishing, reading his Bible and long walks with his wife and their little Havanese named Baxter. George's other hobbies consisted of large RC racing cars. He enjoyed attending various clubs so that he could race them. George was a member of the American legion post o400.
On behalf of George, the family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses over the years for the excellent care from the VA Medical Center at Lake Nona & Baldwin.
George will be placed to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with military honors on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 1:00 P.M.
