George D. Kobi

George D. Kobi, 60 of Orlando passed away Monday, January 22, 2007. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida several years ago. He was the seafood manager for Winn Dixie Supermarket on Hoffner and Conway Road. Prior to that, he was a Florida Highway Patrolman and served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed painting, gardning, cooking, playing horseshoes and drinking beer.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Carla Kobi of Richmond, IN; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Aaron Murray of Orlando; mother, Evelyn Kobi of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; brothers, Larry Kobi of Lancaster, Ohio and Mark Kobi of Baltimore, Ohio; sisters, Marsha Ramsey of Leybourne, Ohio and Cindy Gadrim of Delaware, Ohio; grandchildren, Destiny and Daniel Murray.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
