George D Sutherland passed away at the age of 59 on Tuesday, March 12th, 2013.
George was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and migrated to the USA in 1971.
George was married in July of 1976 to Ann Marie. They where happily married for 36 years. They lived in Schenectady NY before, relocating to Orlando, FL in 1994.
George worked as a communication technician at General Electric for a period of 18 years. Upon leaving General Electric George embarked on his passion of construction. He was a avid soccer player and actively involved with the Dragons Mass Camp in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. George enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, as well as listening to music.
George was preceded in death by his parents Eric & Melita Sutherland, and his daughter Melina Sutherland.
George is survived by his spouse Ann Marie of Orlando FL, his son Andrew, his brothers Hugh, Jeffery, Richard, and Sydney, sisters Peggy and Madge. Sister In-Laws Gloria, Laura, Pamela, Rosemay, and Velda , brother in -laws Alex, Lawrence, and his loving nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday March the 21st 2013 from 5pm - 9pm at Newcomer Funeral home. Funeral services will be on Friday March 22nd 2013 at 11am.
A reception celebrating George's life will be held at the Sutherland Residence, after the funeral ceremony. Location: 14837 Bonnybridge Dr. Orlando Fl 32826
