George Thomas Serrett

Mr. George Thomas Serrett, 75 of Longwood, Florida passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. He was born on July 26, 1935 in Richmond, Virginia to George William Serrett and Dana Josephine Quillen Serrett. Tommy was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was retired as the District Manager in the Propane Gas Company field.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Anne (Miller) Serrett; daughters, Deanne Serrett Adams and Lisa Miller Serrett; son, Thomas MacQuillin. Serrett; brothers, Robert Quillen Serrett and William Wayne Serrett; sister, Mary Sue Serrett Hedgepeth; 5 grandchildren Jamie Alan Fleming, Kristen Danielle Fleming, Johnathan Thomas Serrett, Dakota Elizabeth Adams, Kyle Gavin Serrett Hunter and 2 great grandchildren, Danielle Lisbeth Fleming, Elaina Michelle Fleming. He was preceded in death by his sister Dana Deanne Serrett in 1938 and his grandson Michael MacQuillin Serrett in 2010.

A Memorial service and Celebration of his Life will be held in Staunton, Va.. In lieu of flowers please donate in Tommy's name to your local ASPCA.
