Gerald Raymond Kennedy, Master Sergeant, USAF, Ret. age 67 of Orlando passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Central Florida in 1990. After his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, he went to work for the University of Central Florida in Orlando

He is survived by his wife, Natividad Kennedy of Orlando; children, Brian Kennedy of Austin, Texas, Carol Amoruso of Altamonte Springs, FL, Darren Kennedy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark Kennedy and Adam Kennedy both of Orlando; sisters, Patricia Marziole, Maureen Giordano and Joan Orfanello all of New Orleans; brothers, Thomas Kennedy, M.D. and Michael Kennedy both of New Orleans; 2 grandchildren, Angelina Amoruso and Gavin Kennedy both of Orlando.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 22, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1501 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-10:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL.
