Gerald Joseph (Jerry) Reimer, age 81 of Orlando, Florida passed away on April 9, 2024. He was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on April 7, 1943 and was an only child.
Gerald Joseph Reimer was laid to rest on April 17, 2024. There were no services, per his request.
He is survived by his wonderful, caring and loving wife Barbara Maria (Harris) Reimer and his adopted daughter Teri Thomas Maddox and Glen Maddox. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Stanley and Jennis Jean Reimer. Along with his many past and present family members and friends.
He was a member of Downey Memorial Church. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a Mailhandler/Mule Driver after 37 ½ years of service.
Jerry was a proud United States Army Veteran of the 25th Infantry, who served in the Vietnam War. He was the proud recipient of the Bronze Star.
He was a member of the VFW Post #8207 of Longwood, Florida, the DAV, NARFE, ROPER'S Breakfast Club, AARP and NRA.
Jerry was loved and will be missed!
