Gilberto Padilla Camacho

Gilberto Padilla, was Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was loved by many people. He was the kind of person, if you needed help with something or anything, he would be there for you. Family was the number one priority for him.

He worked as a farmer in the agriculture fields in Puerto Rico in the sugar cane fields and sweet potato fields. He also milked the cows and plowed the fields with the Oxen.

Gilberto had a history of being a boxer, he used to do sparring in the boxing ring, where he had the opportunity and the honor to spar with the likes of Muhammad Ali, in the 1960's.

Gilberto was diagnosed with early dementia at a young age, which made it hard to deal with life. Since his dementia progressed, he was placed in an assisted living and then placed in a nursing home, where his children and grandchildren would visit and support him, bring him for the weekends and Holidays, and celebrate birthdays with family and friends.
