Trambusti, Giuliana Maria, 84, of Winter Park, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 31st, 2010. She is survived by her son, Bruno; daughter, Valeria Shapiro (and James); brother, Gianfranco Franellich (and Stefania); grandson, Christopher Barker (and Nikki); granddaughter, Julie Barker; great-granddaughter, Elle Barker. Mrs. Trambusti was born in Trieste, Italy, on August 8th, 1925 and later moved to Milan where she attended university and, in the family tradition, earned a jurisprudence degree. In 1951 she married Paolo, the love of her life. With their children, they immigrated to the United States and later naturalized, becoming proud US citizens. Upon Paolo's retirement, they moved closer to family in Florida. They spent many happy years traveling back to their beloved Italy, and other domestic and foreign destinations. Giuliana will be remembered for her strong personal beliefs and fierce dedication to her family. Her memory will continue to inspire her loved ones. Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the assisted living staff at the Mayflower Retirement Community who lovingly helped with her care during the last few years of her life. A celebration of Giuliana's life will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd, at 11 am at the Mayflower Retirement Community, 1620 Mayflower Court, Winter Park.
