Gladys Cartina Fleming

Gladys Cartina Fleming, age 78, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Florida Hospital. She was the loving wife of Eric Fleming, Sr.

Gladys was born on June 29, 1940 in St. Georges, Grenada; daughter of the late Septimus and Irene (Hood) St. Bernard. In 1970 Gladys and her husband Eric moved to the Virgin Islands where they raised their three 3 children Erica, Wendy-Ann and Eric Jr. She was an insurance salesperson for many years prior to her retirement. Gladys was a member of Eastland Baptist Church.

Gladys is survived by her husband, Eric; her two daughters, Erica Fleming and Wendy Ann Fleming-Parris; her son, Eric Fleming, Jr.; four grandchildren, Michelle Fleming, Kai Fleming, Joshua Parris, and Jalen Fleming; and her brother, Leonard Thomas.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 at Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32825.

Visitation will be at the church preceding the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
