Gloria E. Craven, age 95, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019
Born April 2, 1924 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lucille and Earl Watson.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Henry (Hank) Craven in 1991, she was a long-time resident of Miami, FL before moving to the Orlando area to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her son, Ron Craven and his wife Pat; granddaughters, Cortney and Kinsley; and great-grandchildren, Madeline, Moorea and Samuel, all from the Orlando area.
As a former Air Force wife Gloria and Hank traveled extensively while serving for 27 years. They spent 3 years in the Netherlands; traveling to Belgium, France, England, Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg, and Italy, before retiring from the Air Force and returning to Miami, FL.
Gloria enjoyed spending time eating out with friends. She especially enjoyed her weekly bible study and lunch group with friends and neighbors. She was known for loving to wear bright colors, accessorizing with beautiful pins and adorable purses.
Graveside services will be at Flagler Memorial Cemetery in Miami, FL on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for Memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
