Gloria Jean Miller, 73 passed away Thursday, May 19th surrounded by family. A loving Aunt, Sister and Friend to many, she will be missed dearly.

Gloria was a graduate from the University of Central Florida and a retired employee of the State of FL's Social Services Department. A cancer survivor, she was a strong, independent person with a determination to help her face challenges head on. Gloria was a kind, loyal, loving person with a big heart; always willing to help a friend or family member in need.

Many don't know that Gloria had an artistic side to her. She enjoyed painting and ceramics as well as nurturing plants. She found fulfillment in being active and involved at her church where she would spend time with friends and do all she could to help her parish.

Her family finds peace in knowing Gloria is now in the loving arms of God with her parents Ralph and Jean Marotta and her brother Joe Marotta. She is survived by her sister-in-law Josie Marotta, her niece Michelle Ribar and her husband Mele, her nephew Brian Marotta, his wife Nicole and their children Ashton, Kendall, Morgan, Bryn and Presley.

Monday, June 20th at 10:30 a.m., Mass will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Winter Park. There will be a funeral ceremony at Glen Haven in Winter Park at noon and following, a gathering at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church Hall for a Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, Gloria's family asks that you consider donating to the American Cancer Society or to Saints Peter & Paul Church in her honor.
