Glyndon Wilson Jackson, Jr.
Glyndon Wilson Jackson, Jr., 59, of Casselberry, passed away at 11:19 pm, Friday, February 3, 2017, from complications due to influenza, surrounded by friends and family. Glyn was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 26, 1957, and adopted by Glyndon and Kathlyn Jackson, Sr.
After a few years in Louisville, Kentucky, his family moved to Longwood, where he attended Longwood Elementary School, graduated from Lyman High School in 1975, and did coursework at Seminole Community College. Since 1998, Glyn has owned Graphic Details, Incorporated, a creative marketing firm in Longwood. Glyn was an avid supporter and Life Member of the National Rifle Association, a Kentucky Colonel, an alumnus of the Life Unlimited singing group, bass and acoustic guitar player for several bands including Jigsaw and Clockwork, an active member of the Lyman High School Athletic Parents Association, Inc., and a Photoshop guru. Glyn was known throughout the community for his kindness, generosity, and big heart, and he was always the first to help a friend in need.
Glyn is survived by his wife, Diane (Kunkler), to whom he was married for thirty years, daughter Maranda, son David, grandsons William Glyn Piper and Michael Lloyd Piper, and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Casselberry, Fl at 12:00pm on February 18th 2017.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Sanford at 1:00 PM followed by a reception at the VFW in Winter Springs, Florida at 2:00 PM.
