Granville Theophilus Smith, Sr., age 74, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at AdventHealth East Orlando Hospital.
He was born on January 9, 1949 in Bolans, Antigua, BWI, son to his late parents, Mildred A. and Edina Smith. On November 5, 1988, he married the former Eusineca Felix. Granville was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, honorably serving his country from 1968 until his discharge in 1976.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Eusineca Smith of Orlando; five children, son, De-Vaughn L. Smith and his wife, Melise, of Houston, TX; son, Granville T. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Alana, of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Granneca R. Smith of St. Thomas, USVI; daughter, Shemeca M. Smith and her husband Khareem Hughes, of Orlando; and son, Orville D. Smith and his wife, Amarantha, of Palm Bay, FL; eleven grandchildren, Granville T. Smith, III, Aubrey Smith, Alexis Smith, Tyler Smith, Tristan Smith, Titan Smith, Dayani Fluker-Bey, El'Ahi Fluker-Bey, Khaleesia Hughes, Damaria Smith, and Amora Smith; a brother, Osei Elihu and his wife, N'Zinga, of Antigua, BWI; and a sister, Violet Smith of Detroit, MI.
Granville was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings: sister, Sylvaneta George, brother, Ethelbert Smith, brother, Cardwell Smith, sister, Lalina Greene, and son in law, Davis Fluker Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Homes - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, with Dr. Bentley Thomas officiating.

Visitation with the family will precede the service on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Granville's name may be made to
Virgin Islands Missions, Inc. towards the orphanage in Kenya.
