Guillermo Garcia, age 80, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Guillermo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 9, 1941 to parents Guillermo Garcia and Angelina Perez Garcia.
Affectionately known as Guillito, he retired from welding and had previously worked for the USPS. He was an avid fisherman, excellent swimmer, and could spend countless hours by the water. He enjoyed salsa dancing, playing dominoes, watching boxing and baseball, and spending quality time with his family. He was loved and cherished by family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by sons, Donald Garcia and William Garcia; daughter, Melissa Garcia; daughter in law, Maria Bermudez; brother, Jose Antonio Garcia; sisters, Milagros (William) Power, Luisa Rodriguez, and Sonia Garcia; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Juana Garcia; daughter, Denice Garguilo, and brother Herman Garcia.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a memorial and Celebration of Life service starting at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (East Orlando Chapel).
