Hannelore Thomas

THOMAS, HANNELORE, 68 of Orlando born in Bad Toelz, Germany, passed away July 10, 2010. Memorial service will be provided by Newcomer Funeral Home located at 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. in Orlando on Wed. July 14, 2010 at 6:00 pm. She is survived by her husband Jarrett, her grandson Phillip, sisters-in-law Carol Snelling and Micki Baker, cousins Gabriele Willibald, Resi Saxinger, Albert Braun and Doris Mair. Hannelore enjoyed 20 years as a U. S. Army wife, serving alongside her husband in Germany, Korea and many posts in the U.S. She later enjoyed many years of service and retired from Valencia Community College. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and animal lover. While devoting so much time to her family and friends, she also found time to participate as an active member of the German American Club of Casselberry, FL.
