Harold Lawrence Barnard, age 77 of Orlando passed away Sat. April 23, 2005. Born in Central City, KY, he moved to central Florida in 1975. He was a retired General Contractor, Veteran of the U.S. Army and former Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the Church of Christ and dedicated husband, father and family man.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Barnard; daughter, Jeanna Lorene Barnard of Orlando; sons, Rod Barnard of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and Bob Barnard of Tompkinsville, KY; sisters, Olivia Nell McGuire of Grundy, VA and Sue Brown of Aflex, KY; brother, Warren C. Barnard of Palmetto, FL; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by one brother, Dr. John William Barnard.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando 407-277-4227 on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Arrangements by Newcomer Family Funeral Home, Orlando.
