He was born on November 6, 1953 in New York, NY to the late Homer and Adelaide Rivera.
He is survived by his common-law-wife, Laura Marcano; sons, Michael Rivera, Justin Rivera, and Sedric Rivera; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister, Rhodesia Curtis; and brothers, Homer Rivera, Dennis Valentine, and David Valentine.
Visitation is Friday September 8, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm with memorial service starting at 7pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
