Pastor Stocker graduated this life and moved his tassel on 29th day of October at 4:30 AM to be with his Lord Jesus Christ after a lengthy illness.
Pastor Stocker was born in Philadelphia Pa. on Nov. 16, 1919 to John and Anna Stocker of Philadelphia, Pa. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Stocker, first wife Rev. Leone Stocker, brothers Earl Stocker, John Stocker, Jimmy Stocker, Harry Stocker. He is survived by his present wife Estelle Stocker, Sons Pastor David Stocker of Miami and Pastor James Stocker of Warner Robins, Georgia, sisters Ellie Southam of Inverness, Florida and Anna Asta of Philadelphia, Pa. Grand children Rachel Stocker Allen, David Stocker, Adam Stocker and Angie Stocker. Great grand children Hannah Stocker, Ayden Stocker, Jason Allen, Ben Allen, Sara Rose Allen, Natalia Stocker and Britian Stocker.
He is part five generations of preachers. His Grand Father, Harry Stocker; his Aunt, Aunt Mame; Pastor Harvey Stocker himself; his two sons, Pastor David H. Stocker and Pastor James J. Stocker; and his Grand Son, Rev. David H. Stocker.
Pastor Stocker began preaching at the age of nineteen as an evangelist, camp meeting speaker and soloist prior to the Second World War. During the war he was in an Army mash unit as a medic in Europe. While is Europe he preached in the Army chapel services.
Since returning from the war, Pastor stocker continued as an evangelist and became pastor ten churches in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Florida.
Pastor Stocker was pastor of two churches in Orlando, Flemming Heights Assembly of God on Old Winter Garden Rd. and Pine Hills Assembly of God, Pine Hills Rd. He became the Seniors Pastor at Winter Garden Assembly of God Church for five years.
Upon Retiring He lived in Ocoee until his Home going.
