Hazel M. Murray, 52 of Orlando passed away Friday, April 17, 2009. She was born in San Fernando, Trinidad and moved to Central Florida in 1985 from Brooklyn, New York. Hazel graduated from Pleasantville High School in Trinidad and from Renown College also in Trinidad. She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Simpson Murray in 1999 and is survived by her daughter, Denielle Murray and son, Denzel Murray both of Orlando; father, Ashley Julien of England; mother, Jean Apple of Orlando; sisters, Debbie Apple of New York and Donna Apple-Dixon of Orlando and brothers, Daniel Apple and Iqwe Smith both of Orlando.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 in the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM.
