Hazel Philomena Soares, age 88, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020. She was born on June 23, 1931 Chennai, India.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Leo Soares; her parents, Joseph Weston and Agnes Weston; and her sister, Enid Soares.
Hazel is survived by her children, Sheila M. Merchant, and Joseph A. Soares; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, John, and Stephen.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - East Orlando Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
